Industrial Visit to Genco Ltd., Hydro Electric Station

Shivanasamudram Village, Malavalli Taluk

Students from MRIT, Mandya visited Genco Ltd., Hydro Electric Station as part of their academic curriculum aimed at enhancing practical knowledge in the field of power generation. The visit offered firsthand insight into the working of a hydroelectric power plant. They observed key components such as turbines, generators, control rooms, and the overall power distribution system. The technical team conducted an informative session on the principles of hydroelectricity, operational safety, and sustainable energy sources. The visit bridged theoretical learning with practical exposure and encouraged greater interest in renewable energy and power systems engineering.

MRIT, Mandya — Inaugurated by Dr. Ramlingaiah, Treasurer MRET

A five-day workshop on "Mechanical Models using CAD Tools like SolidWorks and Creo" was organized at MRIT, Mandya, providing comprehensive hands-on training in advanced CAD software widely used in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and mini-projects guided by experienced trainers and industry experts.
